My Roles and Responsibilities
I'm currently teaching Science to students. Ensuring they achieve an attainment level and final GCSE grade that reflects their true potential. Developing students both academically, socially, emotionally and mentally.
I have been a qualified Science teacher since 2014. I have experience both within the academic and pastoral sector of education. I am passionate about students seeing the bigger picture and I always encourage my students to make the most out of any opportunity and to value the process of learning. I previously obtained a BSc degree in Medical Science and I have extensive experience within the healthcare sector. I am currently studying for an MA in Childhood and Youth Studies to enhance my knowledge on the research and policies that impact the lives of children.
Why am I on Connect?
I am passionate about children and young people being first and foremost happy and actively trying to improve themselves consistently. I would like to support and make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people beyond my classroom. I am excited to be a Connect mentor as it is important for me to be able to equip children and young people with the essential life skills to thrive in both their child and adult years.
Whom would I like to mentor?
I would like to mentor anyone who has a consistent desire to improve themselves. My ideal Mentee would be honest, consistent and curious.
